With mass layoffs, forced office returns, and unpaid overtime turning employees into corporate zombies, industry leader WeWoke has decided it’s time to heal the wounds… with glue sticks.
In a revolutionary wellness initiative, WeWoke now hosts counselor-led art therapy lunches every Friday. “Employees just didn’t feel safe expressing their concerns to upper management,” said CEO Journey Sage-Flora, while carefully hot-gluing a macaroni mandala. “So we gave them clay, paint, and a creative passive-aggressive outlet.”
The results? Glorious chaos.
One employee is creating lifelike dolls of the Senior Leadership Team, complete with pins to highlight the parts he admires most. The HR Director doll has a pin in his heart to point to his loving nature, and the CFO doll has a pin in her head to point to her keen intellect.
Program Director, Counselor, and Art Referee, Yvonna Punchew, admitted some minor health and safety concerns. “Collage day grew dark when we realized Exact-o knives and suppressed rage don’t mix. But we switched to safety scissors, and then the healing really took off.”
As for future plans? Sources whisper about interpretive dance memos, glitter-based performance reviews, and a mindfulness pottery corner. While layoffs continue, employees are comforted by the knowledge that their termination notices now arrive folded into origami swans of gratitude.
